The board-mount 2W DC/DC converters come with reinforced isolation of 5.2kVDC/1 minute as well as 2MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) at 250VAC at 5.000m. With an input voltage of 3.3 to 24VDC, output voltages between ±3.3 and ±12VDC are feasible. At a bandwidth of 20MHz, the output voltage fluctuates by a maximum of 150mVp-p.
In the operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, the modules reach up to 85% efficiency without derating. With a maximum load of 50% they can be used at an operating temperature of up to +95°C. At +25°C the REM2 series has an MTBF (Meantime between Failure) of 12900x103 hours, at +80°C it is 5300x103 hours.
The REM2 series is compliant to class A/B EMC and 60601-1-2 (4th ed.) medical EMC using a simple external LC filter and is certified to CB, IEC/EN and ANSI/AAMI 60601-1 (3rd ed.) medical safety standards. It comes with a warranty of five years.
