Exceptionally reliable: High Cap MLCCs for automotive applications from SEMCO at Rutronik

Prevent short circuits: With the PN and PJ series, Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SEMCO) offers High Cap MLCCs for a wide range of automotive applications where reliability plays a crucial role, including safety and infotainment. Thanks to their soft termination, these capacitors can absorb external physical stresses and prevent short circuits. For added reliability, all Samsung automotive class 2 MLCCs have an additional metal-epoxy termination layer. The High Cap MLCCs are available at www.rutronik24.com.

Both series are AEC-Q200 qualified. The PN series is part of the standard automotive range. It convinces with a guaranteed bending limit of up to 3mm in the AEC-Q200 Board Flex Test.

5 millimeter bending possible without loss of performance

Due to an additional metal epoxy layer, The PJ series achieves a bending limit of up to 5 mm in the AEC-Q200 Board Flex Test. Furthermore, the series is qualified according to VW 808080-2, which allows the use of the components in fail-safe applications such as direct connection to terminal 30.
