As a result of this agreement, Rutronik is adding workstation and server motherboards, bare-bones systems, and server systems to its existing portfolio in order to meet customers’ growing demands for solutions in the field of IIOT and cloud connectivity. ASUS solutions, which are designed for high performance as well as high data throughput, can connect up to eight graphics cards or compute accelerator cards in parallel, including single- to dual-socket solutions. This allows deep learning and artificial intelligence applications to be broadly implemented in the form of building blocks.
The bare-bones segment includes generic solutions as well as 1HE solutions with a short installation depth. The range of server solutions is rounded out by workstations for deep learning and content creation, which are of particular interest to IT service providers.
“Our new industrial solutions allow us to penetrate a whole new market,” says Thomas Pannenbecker, Country Head of ASUS in Germany. “Rutronik is the perfect partner to join forces with as we travel down the path to Industry 4.0.”
“ASUS workstation and server products complement Rutronik’s portfolio in a segment that is becoming increasingly important due to digitization and the growing use of artificial intelligence in industrial environments,” says Mario Klug, Senior Marketing Manager Embedded Boards & Systems at Rutronik.
