Once again, Rutronik was able to convince the readers of the trade magazine "Elektronik" and was voted top distributor in the category "Volume Distributors Overall Performance". The assessment was based on several criteria. Rutronik achieved first place in both the "Supply Chain Performance" and "Digitalization" categories.
"The continuous top ranking in one of the most important indicators for the electronics market in German-speaking countries once again confirms that we are well positioned and doing an excellent job," says Andreas Mangler, Director Strategic Marketing.
Sustainability rewarded
In addition to the traditional readers' poll, the editorial team and sponsor TDK also awarded a jury prize on the subject of sustainability. Here, Rutronik was recognized for its collaboration with the non-profit company "Arbeit für Mensch mit Behinderung" (AfB)(Work for people with disabilities). The jury found this commitment remarkable, as it perfectly complements efforts towards sustainability with social awareness and social commitment.
"We are very proud of this award," says Marco Nabinger, Senior Director IT Operations & Infrastructure, Security, who oversees the project and accepted the awards. "For almost 20 years, we have been cooperating with AfB, which prepares our IT equipment that is no longer needed for private reuse and returns it to the economic cycle. This reduces emissions, saves raw materials and energy. In addition, the devices provided by Rutronik create one workplace for people with disabilities every year."
