The PCB relay has four poles, a contact resistance and has an optional auxiliary contact for reliable fault detection in accordance with the IEC60947-4-1 mirror contact requirement. Their failure rate (level M - reference value) is 100 mA at 24 VDC for the main contact and 10 mA at 5 VDC for the auxiliary contact. The relays also score points with their high short-circuit resistance in accordance with IEC62955.
The components operate reliably at an ambient temperature of -40 °C to +85 °C (without icing or condensation). Their compact dimensions are 35 mm (width) x 58 mm (length) x 47 mm (height) with a contact gap of 3.6 mm (min.).
They are particularly suitable for use in 3-phase EVSE mode 3 (EV charging stations) and are applicable to the currently highest models with 22 kW (32 A, 3-phase 400 VAC) - especially for the EU market.
Benefits at a glance:
- 4-pole 40 A relay
- Low initial contact resistance of 6 mΩ max.
- High short-circuit resistance in accordance with IEC62955
- Low power consumption of the coil: approx. 613 mW with holding voltage 35%
- Compact form factor
- Auxiliary contact in accordance with IEC60947-4-1 Mirror contact requirement (optional)
Application examples:
- 3-phase EVSE mode 3 (EV charging station), especially for the EU market
- Inverters for solar and energy storage
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
