The PSoC™ 4100S family adds intelligent analog integration through programmable analog blocks. These Programmable Analog Blocks can be configured to create custom Analog Front Ends (AFEs) and signal conditioning circuits with opamps and filters.
Infineon CAPSENSE™ solutions enable designers to bring elegant, reliable, and easy-to-use capacitive touch sensing functionality to your design, via CAPSENSE™ Middleware part of ModusToolbox™ software and our PSoC™ 4 and PSoC™ 6 microcontroller portfolio.
Infineon's PSoC™ 4 family is a configurable platform architecture based on an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ CPU. It combines programmable and reconfigurable analog and digital blocks with flexible automatic routing. The PSoC™ 4100S product family is a member of the PSoC™ 4 platform architecture. It is a combination of a microcontroller with standard communication and timing peripherals, a capacitive touch-sensing system (CAPSENSE™) with best-in-class performance, programmable general-purpose continuous-time and switched-capacitor analog blocks, and programmable connectivity. PSoC™ 4100S products are upward compatible with members of the PSoC™ 4 platform for new applications and design needs.

PSoC™ Creator
PSoC™ Creator is an Integrated Design Environment (IDE) that enables concurrent hardware and firmware editing, compiling and debugging of PSoC™ and FM0+ systems. Applications are created using schematic capture and over 150 pre-verified, production-ready peripheral components. PSoC™ Creator will continue to be sustained on our PSoC™ 4 devices, new development will be in ModusToolbox™.
